Leggings. Love or Hate?
This is huge problem for some people. This question is asked frequently by parents, teens, and anyone who wears them.
"Can leggings be worn as pants?"
My personal answer...
Maybe.
It all depends on what the leggings are made of. Cotton, spandex, sweater/knit, or leather. (nobody, not even Lady GaGa, should wear leather leggings. Unless you KNOW you can DEFINITELY pull them off...)
Cotton-
Super thin- PLEASE WEAR A SKIRT FOR THE SAKE OF NOT BEING EMBARASSED. INNAPROPRIATE WITHOUT! ITS LIKE WEARING TIGHTS! ONLY WORSE!
Thick- Try them on first. If you bend down and it stretches enough so you can see your skin, you need to wear something long enough to cover your bum. If not, still try to wear somthing long enough to cover you up so you look decent and put together. These aren't usually too expensive, the cheapest pair I've seen was for $5.00 at Target.

Spandex- No. don't. WAYYY too thin. Wear a dress or skirt over these. But they are amazing for running and excersize! Stretchy and bendable. But they do make running pants! Yoga pants are good for things like that too.

Sweater/knit- These are really nice for the winter, and I am actually wearing a pair right now! Where I live it gets SUPER cold in the winter, so I try to find the thickest knit leggings I can find. They have good thick ones at Old Navy and Target. These usually range from $10.00 to $20.00.

Leather- NO. NO NO NO. PLEASE NO. They're not appropriate, unless they're thick, so If you REALLY want some type of leather pant, buy FAKE leather jeans. Not real. That's inhumane.
